Ratanda Christian Fellowship is an autonomous interdependent church on the outskirts of Heidelberg, Gauteng, that has a vision to equip and train primarily young people in the Township Schools. It was established by Pastor Frans Manganye in 2005 and has already greatly affected the local community.
We at Alberton Christian Fellowship train and support them financially and prayerfully. We have purchased property and have erected a building on the site, although the church itself operates in a 120 seater tent.

Pastor FransThe Vision of Ratanda Christian Fellowship:

Our Vision:
Our vision as Ratanda Christian Fellowship is to restore hope to the hopeless, reconcile and bring back people to Jesus and to fulfil their life's purpose in God. (Jeremiah 1 v 4 – 5)

Our Mission: Ratanda Christian Fellowship
Our mission is to build a place where those in need, abused, harassed, despised and rejected can flee to and experience the love of God - and to be healed from their hurts, family problems, rejection, being unloved, misery, frustration and be made whole. Romans 13 v 8 says: "Owe no one anything except to love, uplift, comfort one another for He who loves another has fulfilled the Law."

Our vision based on five pillars:

  1. Spiritual – provide spiritual healing, prayer, counselling and motivation.
  2. Social - provide self-help schemes, life skills and community projects.
  3. Academic - provide adult-based education, establish a school and computer centre.
  4. Aids awareness and support - provide care, support and counselling for HIV/AIDS orphans, both infected and affected.
  5. Business development - sharpening and developing entrepreneurial skills in the community.
